![]() It's not a deal breaker by far, but it makes me more likely to skim the text than to really dig in. I forget if you can adjust the text size, but in general it's teeny tiny, and there's A LOT of reading in this game. There's also the issue of the text being VERY small. Creatures are a different story, because they'll kind of come right for you.so outrunning and overpowering them is more of the key. Get good at fighting enemy ships especially, like you can exploit how some enemies only have forward or side facing cannons. Once you last long enough to upgrade to a better ship, the world really begins to open up. You'll eventually get how to manage everything fairly easily, and know what limits you can risk pushing and when. I will warn that you WILL die quite a bit towards the beginning of your time playing this, until you start to understand the basics and can finally begin to upgrade everything. ![]() I love the feeling you get when your boat chugs over some massive skeleton of a strange leviathan looming out of the depths. Rush through the game, and you'll miss out on so much scenery and secrets. The game is fairly slow paced, almost plodding, but your ship will physically get faster over time.but the main point is the exploration. You'll have general crew, but also your named crew members who add varied bonuses to your ship. There's SO much lore in the game, and ways to go about doing things. The atmosphere is amazing, and you will have a constant sense of dread as you explore uncharted waters, or are trying to make it back to port before running out of fuel or supplies.or your crew succumbs to madness and yeets themselves overboard. I HIGHLY recommend the Zubmariner DLC as it lets you transform your ship into a submarine, and there's a whole other map beneath the existing map. You'll have guns to battle enemy vessels and sea creatures, crew to manage, missions to complete, and a large world to explore. You control your ship from a top down view, and there's quite a few ships you can buy and upgrade to your liking. If you enjoy Dredge, you'll definitely enjoy Sunless Sea.maybe even more so.
